A first new official bottle release from this lesser known Speyside distillery in many a year, double oak aged in Ex-Bourbon and Ex-Sherry casks.
Nose: Fondant cakes, apricot jam, marzipan, ripe canteloupe melon, ginger, glazed pastries.
Palate: Battenberg cake, peach cobbler, orange curd, cinnamon toast, aromatic spices, chocolate truffles, subtle sherry soaked sponge, juicy sultana.
Finish: Orchard fruit jam, syrupy sponge pudding, vanilla custard, danish pastries.
A good level entry Highland malt for those that like a lighter style of whisky.
